One of my favorite series by Lisa Maxwell (which has a new book coming this year!) took the snake covers to heart and features these skeletal serpents twined together. April Genevieve Tucholke’s Wink Poppy Midnighthas all sorts of creatures on its cover, including a snake!
The Poison’s Kissduology by Breeana Shields puts the snakes front, and with those colors, you can’t miss them! Start with book 1, Poison’s Kiss, then jump into book 2, Poison’s Cage!Įven standalones are getting into the snake game. Kendare Blake’s Three Dark Crowns series is a great example of this, and you can find a snake on each of the books!įeatured here are Three Dark Crowns(book 1), One Dark Throne(book 2), Two Dark Reigns (book 3), and Five Dark Fates(book 4). There are plenty of snakes featured on young adult books, particularly (though not exclusively) in YA fantasy.
